She nods. "I am. I'm the matriarch of the enclave here in siren cove. My aunt was before me and her mother and grandmother were before that." She watches his face for his reaction, concerned he might be scared but finds him nodding, taking it in in his usual cool manner, ever the librarian and seeker of knowledge that he is. She smiles a little sadly. "I didn't mean for you to ever find out that way."
