Spencer blinks at that, unsure how he should reply because on the one hand, he'd have to agree that the neighbor really ought not make any more attempts to toast much of anything but on the other, he has no idea whatsoever what they're even talking about anymore. "Right. Yes, well... My best wishes to any toasters that may have the misfortune of crossing paths with your neighbor in the future."
He narrows his eyes at the question about being on television because it's true, he had, but it had been for his arrest and he finds it a bit odd that the man would recognize his face but not connect him to the crime--the one he hadn't actually committed, that is. "I've been on it once or twice, a couple years back. Not for anything very good. I was here four years back, though. My hair was longer, I suppose."
