Cam pulled up to the garage and took off his helmet. His first thought had been to call the cops about the silent alarm going off, but then he decided to just swing by the place and check things out first. No sense scrambling the boys and blue because a stray cat had gotten adventurous or something.
When he saw the broken glass, though, he pulled out his phone and had 9-1-1 programmed in with his thumb hovering over the send button. Just in case.
"Hello?" he called out and wished, not for the first time, that he'd thought to bring some kind of weapon.
