"I called James. Uh... Thorton," Joel says. He knows that isn't the same as having called the police, but he imagines it's close enough, especially in a place like Siren Cove. The word will get around, he expects James will take care of reporting it for him. Soon enough this place will be swarming with police officers and Joel wants to be long gone by then. He doubts he'll get his way, but he just wants to find Spencer.
