This post is going to be a collection of random facts I've dropped in tags about Spencer that help build his character. I'm gathering them all in one place as a reference so I can at least play with a little bit of continuity, hollah~
Basics
-Full name is Spencer Joseph Waters-Baker, nee Waters, Jr.
-DOB: March 9, 1985 (29)
-Eyes: hazel
-Hair: brown, currently at this length
-6'1"
-Right-handed
-INTJ personality type
-Has one tattoo that he got in December of 2014: the word 'Real' on his hip with the date of his marriage to Joel underneath
-Has a few tiny, barely visible scars near his left temple, where Mark Fuller smashed a glass against his head and gave him a concussion. Also has two scars on his back that he got while fighting a monster after a cruise ship exploded and left half the town stranded on a cursed island.
-Gets terrible headaches when he's stressed.
-Has reading glasses but almost never uses them.
-Suffers from residual flashbacks and nightmares from when he was attacked by Mark Fuller on the night of what was meant to be his and Joel's first date in June 2014. Was kidnapped with Davin and kept in a warehouse for four days in May of 2015 by Roman and has not yet taken active measures to deal with the trauma.
-Nervous tics including rocking on his heels, tapping his foot when sitting, crossing his arms over his chest/hugging himself and shoving his hands in his pockets. Is also very prone to blushing
-Quit his longtime job at the library and co-owns/works at Crossroads with Joel as of September 2014.
Personal Life
-Father (Spencer, Sr.) was killed in a car accident when he was six. Mother (Vera) and younger brother (Dane) were found dead on his 27th birthday. He was arrested for their murders but his release was secured by Detective Levi Astor (tarnishedbadge).
-Married Joel Baker (just_another) on August 26, 2014 in Wilton, ME.
-Surrogate Erin Goodman gave birth to their first child, Dane Lucas Waters-Baker, on June 19, 2015.
-Adopted a puppy called Huxley while on his honeymoon with Joel. Joel's cat Balto is also a member of the Waters-Baker clan.
-Most prized possession is a first-edition copy of The Hobbit that he keeps on display in his home library. Keeps a copy of The Velveteen Rabbit on display in a case made specifically for that purpose, both given to him by Joel as a Christmas gift.
-Was 18 when he lost his virginity on senior prom night to Darcy Haines at the Siren Cove Inn & Lodge. Hadn't been intimate with anyone for over a decade before he met Joel.
-Frequent customer at The Cove Cafe. Always gets a free cut of banana bread from Amber, a barista at one of the local cafes. She's dropped hints that she'd like to spend time with him outside of her workplace but he's never responded to them.
-Has a license but doesn't drive and does not own a car.
-Late brother Dane regularly called him 'Spence' rather than Spencer.
Random Fun Facts
-All-time favorite books are The Hobbit and The Velveteen Rabbit. Has a sizable collection of actual stuffed velveteen rabbits, gifts that had started with his father and ended with his mother, that are all sitting in a box in the attic.
-Takes his coffee black.
-Has a very extensive liquor cabinet but almost always sticks with whiskey as his drink of choice.
-Is a terrible swimmer despite growing up in a coastal town.
-Has read every single article about himself from the time around his family's deaths in The Daily Siren.
-Loves cream soda.
-Favorite ice cream flavor is Ben & Jerry's Coffee, Coffee BuzzBuzzBuzz!.
-Not a fan of Twilight or reality television. There are three televisions in his home but he usually only has one on for background noise or for specific documentaries. Also, Sherlock.
-Doesn't understand the appeal of pineapple on pizza at all.
-Has a collection of ugly Christmas sweaters. His mother would buy a new one for him and his brother every year.
-Has a leather jacket that he received as an early 27th birthday gift from his brother. It was nearly ruined during his abduction by Mark Fuller but he was able to salvage it.
-Is a Beyonce fan.
-Hates pickles.
